Well, well, well. Been a while (understatement). I feel like I constantly find myself apologising for the inexcusable gap between the majority of my posts, however this time I may have an actual excuse. I left you on my last post with the departing words of booking a one way ticket to Spain; this is a small selection (trust me, I have about 1000) of photos that follow the words I left you with roughly three months ago. Little did I know the adventure that would come from that one way ticket; 2 apartments, a ridiculous amount of new friends, 1000 memories and 1 amazing job. I could type for a million years about the amazing experience and how much my heart is still aching for how much I miss such an amazing country and everything within it, but they say pictures speak one thousand words, so I'll let the photographs do the talking. Now I've moved to London and I'm finally back on the blogging radar; did you miss me?

Dress up.

A bit more personal and less posed than I'm used to posting, but in a way this is a follow up from my last day of high school photos. The day I've been waiting for since I was 5 years old; my prom was on Friday and it really signified the end of the past 7 years, with what was, in simple terms, a big party in a beautiful hall (St George's, Liverpool -Google it, you won't regret it) with lots of alcohol and expensive dresses. Not to mention an amazing after party at the Albert Docks. My dress was by Ruth Tarvydas; a beautiful dress designer who's been worn by the likes of Rihanna and Frankie Sandford, which fit perfectly. Although when it first arrived, I DID have a mental breakdown about whether it suited me or not; forcing my hungover friends to resentfully come to my house and comfort me, assuring me it would be perfect on prom day. It was probably the best night of my life (so far) and I'm still on a prom comedown from it all!

P.S. My one way ticket to Spain has been booked, expect some exciting new posts soon xxx

Just a short post because I'm currently meant to be revising English language for tomorrow..oops. A quick look at some of Alexander McQueen's 2012 Resort collection. I think Sarah Burton is doing an amazing job at the helm of the designing team and after the Royal Wedding I don't think anyone would argue with me, really. I especially love the tiny waists and bold cluth bags, but most of all I'm infatuated with the gowns. Bottom left is probably the love of my entire life. Bye for now...

Since leaving school just over a week ago, the majority of my time has been spent doing 7 hour shifts in the library with occasional escapes to McDonald's. But I managed to put aside a day to spend enjoying the short but sweet sunshine with one of my best friends (click for her blog). I really need to start properly doing my hair/make up before I leave the house but with recent late nights and tiring revision days, I'm finding it hard to find the energy, so let me off for now. My exams finish 2 weeks on Friday, and as soon as they're over I think I'm booking a one way ticket to Spain for the Summer. But not before my prom of course! I'll update more soon.
